The company President is Dr Hugo Mellander
Hugo Mellander has a PhD from Cranfield University. The thesis concerned the: Improved occupant crash protection at high delta-v.
H. Mellander has over 30 years of experience in biomechanics and crash safety engineering. Before he started his own company he worked during many years for Volvo Cars.
He has worked as a consultant for automotive suppliers such as Deplhi and Autoliv.
He has worked in several EU-projects and also with projects at Chalmers University of Technology at the department of Applied Physics and SAFER, amongst others on projects of tomorrow’s cars such as electrical hybrid cars etc.
Hugo Mellander has for years worked as an expert for law firms, police and insurance companies in the USA, Sweden and other European countries.
He is a visiting professor at Chongqing University in China and has also lectured at several universities in Europe and the USA.
Hugo Mellander has written many scientific articles and technical reports.
He has held the office of President of the AAAM - Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine. He is a council member of the IRCOBI - International Research Council on the Biomechanics of Injury
He is and has been active in international working groups within the area of crash safety issues. Hugo Mellander received in 1987 "The USA National Traffic Safety Administration Award for Engineering Excellence".
He has on many occasions appeared in the media including radio and television as well in Sweden as in the USA.
He has participated as a technical expert in a variety of promotional assignments amongst others for Volvo Cars
